Swimming legend Dara Torres makes history at the age of 41 by becoming the oldest member of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Team. My P90X training taught me the importance of stretching and joga. One of Dara secrets to success is resistance streching. This is an inspiring story and her techniques are definetely worth reviewing. I’ll be cheering for her all the way later this year at the Olympics.
Wow, what a great workout! I’ve never done any yoga whatsoever. I thought this was for girls. This is my favorite. Interesting finding though; I look at the video and everyone has beautiful straight lines and tight bodies. I turn and look in the mirror and I see a clown or is it a SLN parody. i can’t say it enough, this is a phenomenal routine. I watched this routine a few days ago and just practice some of the poses. Breathing in sync with the movement makes a tremendous difference. I had a strong connection with the storm-calm concept. I take it that this is why for many yoga is more than just stretching. I dig it and I like it. I broke into a heavy sweat and stuck through all the balancing moves. I placed a pillow and managed to get 5 seconds from crane. I can do this! The whole routine takes two hours which is quite ambitious if you have a busy schedule, but it’s worth it. I’m going to read about yoga a bit more. I’m curious about the pose names and their meaning.
