A lot of technology work, a lot! In fact, over 20 years working in technology management in Fortune 100 and early stage companies. I’m working on several startups all wrapped under the umbrella Saez & Brunner Capital Group, LLC for the last year. I was the VP of Airport Marketing at Boingo Wireless, the largest Wi-Fi hotspot service provider and was responsible for building Wi-Fi networks in about 60 top airports in the USA, Canada, UK and the Caribbean. I was a co-owner of a regional ISP in the Chicago area and led the negotiation to for its sale to Winstar Communications (now part of IDT) in 1999.

In 1992, Chief Technology Officer at West Indies and Grey Advertising in Latin America. During this time, I felt I had enough free time to also become a franchisee owner for Discovery Zone, a new concept of indoor children entertainment, for a 10-store market area in the Caribbean.

Worked as a software engineer and product management at Motorola in Arlington Heights, Illinois, pioneering the commercialization CDMA and earlier on 5ESS and 1PSS at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

I hang out with some good airport  people at ACI-NA and sit actively participate as part of the Business and Information Technology Committee.

Appointed by Chicago’s Mayor Richard M. Daley to serve on the board of the Mayor’s Technology Council.

In the board of the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, a non-profit organization helping early stage company to achieve sustainable growth.

A member of the Chicago Economic Club.

Orlando holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.S. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Stuart School of Business.
